In 2006, after multiple rounds of technical comparisons and on-site inspections, Sunstone Development selected SBM MTM Medium-speed Trapezium Mill for its production line. In 2020, building on its trust in SBM equipment, Sunstone Development chose the MTW European Trapezium Grinding Mill. Featuring an efficient curved scraper and thin-oil lubrication system, the equipment improved grinding efficiency while significantly reducing energy consumption, providing critical support for the smooth commissioning of the production line. As a key part of Sunstone's integrated electrolytic aluminum supply chain layout in North China, this base has effectively promoted the intensive and clean transformation of regional anode production, contributing to industrial upgrading and energy structure optimization.

Sunstone has launched a prebaked anode project of the same scale in Yunnan. Supported by the exceptional environmental adaptability and operational reliability of SBM MTW European Trapezium Grinding Mill, the production line has achieved stable and efficient operation. As a benchmark project for Sunstone in Southwest China, it fully leverages local clean energy advantages to build a low-carbon industrial chain from carbon to electrolytic aluminum, injecting sustained impetus into the green development of the regional aluminum industry ecosystem.

SBM LM Vertical Roller Mill ensures continuous and efficient project operation with excellent adaptability, durability and stability. The implementation of this project drives the transformation of carbon industry in Gansu from extensive production to intensive and green development, further improving the carbon supply chain system in Northwest China.

Sunstone has again built a new prebaked anode project with an annual output of 300,000 tons in Gansu, and continues to choose SBM LM Vertical Roller Mill. Integrating crushing, drying, grinding and classifying in one unit, the equipment features low power consumption, small footprint and high stability, fully meeting the demands of large‑scale and continuous production. It provides reliable equipment support for the intensive development of Sunstone's carbon industry.
In 2024, Sunstone Development launched a prebaked anode production line with an annual output of 600,000 tons in Guangxi. Two sets of SBM LM Vertical Roller Mill, featuring low power consumption, high stability and integrated design, have strongly supported the rapid release of production capacity. Leveraging the geographical advantage of the Gulf Port in North, this base represents a strategic move by Sunstone to expand in South China and radiate to the ASEAN market. It is committed to building an international-oriented green carbon material export base.

Building on the reliable performance of SBM vertical roller grinding mills across multiple projects, Sunstone purchased an additional SBM vertical roller grinding mill for its 300,000-ton prebaked anode project in Yunnan. This has effectively expanded production capacity and further consolidated Sunstone’s low-carbon industrial chain layout in Southwest China.
