Monazite is a relatively common by-mineral in moderately acidic magmatic rocks and metamorphic rocks, and is also found in some sedimentary rocks. The geological significance of monazite regardless of magmatic origin or metamorphic genesis is relatively clear. Monazite is monoclinic with crystals in the form of plates or columns. It is so named because it is often single crystal. Brownish red, yellow, sometimes brownish yellow, grease luster, complete cleavage, Mohs hardness 5~5.5, specific gravity 4.9~5.5. Often radioactive. It is mainly produced as a by-mineral in granite, orthofeldspar, gneiss and granite pegmatites, and also in granite-related hydrothermal deposits.
Monazite powder is produced via grinding. The production line is equipped with jaw crusher, cone crusher, Raymond mill, elevator, vibrating feeder, classifier and piping systems.
1. Crushing: Raw monazite undergoes two-stage crushing to fully dissociate useful components and obtain suitable feed materials.
2. Screening: Crushed materials are screened to control particle size, avoiding equipment damage and improving grinding quality.
3. Grinding: Qualified materials are delivered to the silo, then fed into the Raymond mill for fine processing.
4. Classification & Delivery: Ground powder is classified. Substandard material is re-ground, while qualified monazite powder is stored in the finished silo and transported for delivery.
To cater to specific material characteristics and meet customer requirements, SBM provides a range of grinding mills, including the MTM, MTW, LM, LUM, and SCM series.
To ensure environmentally friendly production, various measures are implemented, including the adoption of dust removers and sealing at each component.
SBM's solutions are highly automated, characterized by the utilization of a centralized control platform. This allows for the monitoring and effective control of the entire production process, resulting in significant savings in labor costs.
For each customer, a dedicated engineer is assigned to oversee their project, ensuring prompt resolution of any questions or issues that may arise. Additionally, our 24/7 online service is readily available to provide assistance at any time.
