Introduction
Mica is a rock-forming mineral, usually in the form of hexagonal or fake diamond plates,
sheets, columnar crystal form. Colour
changes with the chemical composition varies, mainly deepening with the increase of Fe
content. Characteristics of mica are
insulation, high temperature, shiny, stable physical and chemical properties, good thermal
insulation, elasticity and toughness.
The white mica is most used in industry, following is bronze mica. It is widely used in
building materials industry, the
fire industry, fire-extinguishing agent, welding, plastic, electrical insulation, paper,
asphalt paper, rubber, pearlescent
pigments and other chemical industries.
